Welcome! I’m Shannon Hollinger and when I grow up, I want to be a writer.
A Short Biography ~
Originally from Florida, Shannon Hollinger currently lives in a mountain valley in New Hampshire with her husband, where they are owned by two terriers. She spent as much time in college as she could, majoring in everything from zoology to archaeology. Almost a decade later, she finally emerged into the real world with degrees in Crime Scene Technology & Physical Anthropology, as well as beau-coup bartending skills! She finds writing to be a much cleaner way to spend her time than the autopsy suite. Most days it smells better, too.
Shannon enjoys writing mystery, suspense and thriller novels. Her short fiction has been published in a number of magazines and anthologies, most notable of which is a piece in Suspense Magazine for which she received a nomination to the Bram Stoker Award ballot. She has finished several novels, but spends too much time reading, writing, wrangling dogs and chasing moose, and not enough time querying agents.
